Welcome to my corner of the web! I hail from the beautiful landscapes of Libby, Montana, where my love for competition blossomed on the ski slopes. However, it was during the off-season that I found another passion: skateboarding.

Upon relocating to Phoenix, I traded my skis for a skateboard and embarked on a new journey as an educator. Leading a vibrant skateboarding club, crafting a skate bowl in my backyard, and deeply engaging with the local skateboarding community became my daily joys.

Eventually, my path took an unexpected turn when I transitioned from teaching to assisting with a friend's parents' tax service in Phoenix. Little did I know, this temporary role would evolve into a long-term commitment that continues to shape my professional journey to this day.

Since founding my tax business back in 2006, I've always dreamed of assembling a team as reliable and dedicated as the one we have today. Originally based in Phoenix, AZ, serving clients nationwide, we made the move to Mount Vernon, WA in December 2012.

Brandy has been an integral part of our journey, diving into the tax business alongside me since 2014. Her role has evolved into providing meticulous care in tax return preparation, ensuring a thorough review and more time for personalized tax planning.

Throughout the years, we've transformed my garage/shed into a fully functional business office, a symbol of our growth and dedication to serving our clients better.

In 2019, Rick joined our team post-retirement from his full-time accounting job, lending his expertise to various office tasks.

Jenna became part of our family in 2021. I met Jenna through climbing friends when we were at the climbing gym at the same time. She has transitioned from after-school worker to a full-time office role.

With our client base expanding, we welcomed another addition to our team in 2022. Shasta initially joined us for a day each week but quickly became an invaluable full-time member, focusing on business needs and client support.

With Brandy mastering even the most complex returns and Shasta diligently attending to business and client requirements, alongside Jenna managing communications and delivery, I'm afforded the opportunity to dedicate high-quality time to review, plan, and address your tax needs personally.

And let's not forget our furry office companions, Cicci, Sirius, and our newest addition, Obi, who bring an extra dose of joy and warmth to our workspace!
